If you’re new to Japanese noodles, here's a quick tip: ramen is made with regular wheat flour, while soba is made with buckwheat flour. Despite its name, buckwheat isn't related to wheat. It's a herbaceous plant, and its seeds are used to make buckwheat flour.

Instant noodles have come a long way since their creation in 1955. Today, they come in a wide variety of flavors, types, and sizes. At Japan Centre, we constantly get new combinations. If you love instant noodles, check our Instant Noodles section regularly for the latest arrivals.
